"Birdcage" is an 11" x 14" limited edition print on Bright White Rag paper signed and numbered by Marcia Diaz. 40% of all sales will be donated to Ernestine's Women's Shelter, 30% donated to Twentytwenty Arts, and 30% will be paid to the artist.
 
Marcia Diaz is a Toronto-based designer, illustrator and motion graphics artist originally from Colombia: "I have anxiety and my illustration practice allows me to represent things that are really hard to put into words, I love when one of my pieces sparks a conversation about mental or physical health, people have told me “this is exactly how I feel” and I think it's so amazing to be able to transmit feeling through drawings, to connect to others through time and space."

  • Ernestine's Women's Shelter

    Ernestine’s Women’s Shelter is a 32-bed emergency shelter that offers support to women and children escaping abuse and violence. Ernestine’s also provides outreach support to over 400 women and female-led families from across the GTA.

    Ernestine's provides a range of holistic services including 24-hour crisis-line assistance, individual and group-based counselling support, Child & Youth programs, and legal, housing, and immigration support and advocacy. Ernestine’s also operates on-site donations, clothing, and food banks. Since opening its doors in 1983, Ernestine’s has supported over 10,000 women and children.
