BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Twentytwenty Arts is looking for new board members! Our organization is growing and we need passionate and engaged board members to help sustain our growth.
 

WHO WE ARE

 

Twentytwenty Arts produces impactful, educational, and public art campaigns that support local charities and nonprofits. Based on the belief that art should be accessible to all, our projects exist primarily within the public sphere. We showcase artwork that highlights the subtly and nuance of various social issues, including mental health, homelessness, addiction, and climate change.

Since our inception in 2018, we have worked with the Canadian Mental Health Association Toronto, Street Health, Homes First, Workman Arts, Made of Millions, SKETCH Toronto, and Women's Habitat. We produce original projects but also collaborate with charities to add a personal touch to existing fundraising campaigns.

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

You believe in the power of art to create social change. You are passionate about social issues (mental health, homelessness, addiction, and climate change). You believe in the power of education and awareness to broaden perspectives. You believe in supporting artists. You resonate with Twentytwenty Arts’ core mission and are personally committed to realizing change within the organization. As a member of our Board of Directors, you will be expected to:

 

  • Provide governance to the non-profit organization

  • Support the development of new programs and initiatives

  • Commit to attending at least four of approximately six board meetings per year

  • Commit to serving a term of at least two years

  • Live or work in the GTA

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Friendly, open-minded, and collaborative approach

  • Ability to problem solve

  • Strong communication skills

  • Preference will be given to those who have experience in one or more of the following areas: 

    • Real Estate Development

    • Business Development

    • Fundraising

    • Finance & Audit

    • Compliance

    • Previous Board Experience
